As first-time sellers navigating a buyers' market, we had every reason to be nervous — and honestly, we were. But from day one, Dave brought a calm confidence that made all the difference. He explained each step of the process thoroughly, always made time for our questions, and genuinely valued our input. It never felt like we were just another transaction to him. "While we were quietly freaking out, Dave was steadily steering us in the right direction." Were there a few bumps along the way? Sure. There was some early confusion around what needed to stay with the home versus what we could take — a learning curve for us as new sellers. And one showing caught us completely off guard. Not ideal. What matters most is where we landed: sold ! with a good price taking into account the market condition and on time, exactly when he said we would be. That kind of reliability in a difficult market is genuinely hard to come by. Dave Maks has been our real estate agent since 2013 when we arrived in Florida. He has helped us buy and sell three houses. He is the very best in the business! My wife and I love working with Dave.

Dave Maks was wonderful in assisting our family outing our house on the market. He was there providing great advices and follow through the process with detail.

Every person that I have told how Dave handled my sale could not believe it. He did so much for me so that I was able to move right away back to my home state. Every detail was handled in a professional manner, he even picked up a hot water heater to save me money. The people I've talked with said their realtor would not do what Dave did for me. The stress from my husband's passing and scheduling a total move was lessoned by Dave's willingness to handle all the sale details including all the appointments etc. He is one heck of a realtor!

Dave Maks was an exceptional real estate agent. Many of the agents that we spoke to told us that buying new construction meant that they (the agent) would not have to do a lot as the builder takes care of everything. That concerned us. But then we talked to Dave. Dave first showed us homes all over the area as we were not 100% committed to building. He was a wonderful guide and agent during our 2 completely full days of house hunting. In the end, we decided to build. And we are so very glad that Dave was our agent. Throughout the building process Dave went to the house to take pictures and videos to help keep us informed of the progress. Since we live in Tallahassee, his updates were very much appreciated. He also attended the inspections with us and offered his advice and opinions, which were very helpful. And on top of all of this, Dave has been quick to give us advice on the selling of our home in Tallahassee. His feedback has been both invaluable and comforting. We are so very glad we got to know Dave and now value him as a friend. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a buyers agent in the greater Tampa area.

In July of this year, my wife and I decided to put our home up for sale. The last time we bought or sold a home was over 33 years ago. Our agent Dave Maks was incredible. Background - We are a small family with an 8 month old child moving to the Tampa area with no knowledge of it. We were paired with Dave Maks from Florida Executive Realty and we won the lottery in that regard. Dave Maks has to be the best realtor you can hope to work with! SERVICE - He exceeded our high expectations in every way . We started our home search in January 2022 and despite the crazy market Dave made us feel like we were his top priority. Despite circumstances preventing us from finding the right home for a year Dave continued to be present and give updates on the market and homes we were interested in. Even weeks after closing he checks in and offers to help with moving needs, using his truck for items. LESSON LEARNED -You will not find a more devoted and attentive realtor. KNOWLEDGE - Dave has been in the area and a local realtor for over 27 years. He knew absolutely everything about every location we went, what shops were available, the hidden nuances where traffic would be high, the events the community would have during holidays and how schools were and WHY they were great or with challenges. Then of course inside each neighbood and home he knew every detail about a home he could look at something and know not just the type but details only a seasoned realtor could know, for example the flooring in every home he could tell you what type it was, when wood, how it was treated and even tell when it was installed (many cases he could see the tile shape and size) and know exactly the decade when it was put in) how many years were left on a roof or appliances or pool equipment. It was like having the builder give you a tour of each home. When we found our home he was able to find every deficiency or item needing to be addressed and has a wealth of contacts for addressing them! LESSON LEARNED - Choose a realtor like Dave who didn't hop into the market during the hot streak but has a lifetime of knowledge and experience and a true passion for the work. We can't thank Dave and Florida Executive Realty enough. Dave Maks is the man. Patient, knows the area, quickly understands what your want in a home, provides pro’s and con’s of any home you are considering. Buying a home in remote location is not easy. Having a good agent is the most important factor. You need someone that not only knows the area but can listen to your needs and fine tune the search as time is very limited. Dave Maks took me all around the Tampa area and showed me different neighborhoods. In this tough market, we could find what we were looking for in our price range. After signing the purchase contract on a new construction, he did a wonderful job monitoring the final build stages. He sent my wife and I a weekly video of the construction progress. I have more friends that plan to move down to Florida within next couple of years and I already told them 'Dave is da man'!

I met with Dave Maks from Florida Executive Realty in February of 2019 and told him that I'd like to sell my house with a closing date toward the end of May. He recommended some things to get the house ready to sell and we were able to put the house on the Market the 2nd week of April. During the first week on the market we received numerous showings with multiple offers. By the end of the 1st week we accepted an offer with a closing date of May 28th which was right when I wanted to close when I first spoke to Mr. Maks in February. Mr. Maks worked hard to get us the best price for our house and ensured that all items were addressed so that we were able to close on May 28th. Dave was great! When we moved here from Oregon in August, we weren’t sure which area we wanted to live in. He showed us houses until we found the right one and immediately made an offer with a letter to the sellers describing why we would love to live there, including proximity to our granddaughters. Ours wasn’t the highest bid, but the sellers accepted it, we believe based on that letter! Dave has guided us through the whole process very thoroughly and is still giving us advice on any issues regarding settling into our home in a new state.
